Impetigo is a highly infectious skin disease caused by bacterial infections, the bacterias Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes are responsible for this condition. Individuals most likely to be infected with impetigo are those who have weak immunity, live in unsanitary conditions and in warm and humid environments.
